1. Who we are

Tide Picker LLC, Fairfax, Virginia ("Tide Picker," "we," "us" or "our") operates tidepicker.com and the research and signal service delivered through it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it.

2. Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Subscription information. The plan you bought, its status and renewal dates. Card numbers never touch our servers — payments are processed by our payment provider, which stores and secures the card details.
• Trade records you enter. Any shares, prices and dates you record in the member tools, which are visible only to you and to our administrators.
• Messages you send us. Anything you submit through the contact form or by email, plus our replies.
• Newsletter sign-ups. The email address you give us to receive blog or signal notifications.
• Technical information. Standard server and security logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.

3. How we use it

We use your information to run your account and membership, deliver the signals and emails you asked for, process payments and refunds, answer your questions, keep the service secure and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Service providers

We share information only with the vendors that make the service work: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor and our email delivery provider. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function and is bound to protect it.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and secure the checkout process. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking cookies will prevent you from signing in.

6. Email choices

Marketing and newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link, and we honor it immediately. We will still send transactional messages about your account, such as receipts, renewal notices and password resets, for as long as you have an account.

7. Data retention

We keep account, subscription and billing records for as long as your account is active and afterward as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Contact messages and trade records are kept until you ask us to delete them.

8. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete your account and its data. Reach us through our contact page and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account ends your membership and access to the signals.

9. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed and member data is protected by row-level access rules so one member cannot read another's records. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

10. Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Questions about privacy can be sent through our contact page.
